While Cheyenne was getting an exciting beginning, Wyoming didn’t officially become a state until 1890. Today the city is just as electric with life as it was when the first rail was dropped, and the people can vouch for it. Although their population of 22,324 isn’t considered a large city, Cheyenne is certainly that and more for many, many miles.
